First Light selected for the Spring Through My Eyes Exhibition
I'm so happy to share that my painting First Light has been selected for the Spring Through My Eyes exhibition by Women in Arts Network.
This piece is my interpretation of spring as a season of transformation in its own rhythm. Snowdrops rise through the snow, and brimstone butterflies arrive as the first messengers of the season, almost as if they are calling the flowers to wake up. Together they suggest renewal and the feeling of light returning, when winter softens and life starts again, patiently.
I am grateful to share this painting alongside so many talented artists, whose works each offer a unique vision of the season. First Light is also the first piece in a new series I am currently working on, centred on wildflowers and butterflies that appear after winter, as symbols of hope and resilience.
